A NOTE FROM JESSI;
My whole life I’ve had a passion for the arts. From drawing, painting, and photography to playing instruments, dancing, and performing in musicals. I always had my hands in a different kind of medium with the goal of creating.

My senior year of high school, I told my art teacher I wanted to go to art school for drawing and painting, and she told me it’s not a good idea - I needed to find another way to make creating my life. Of course I was crushed, but looking back I am so grateful.

I went to college and switched my major 3 times before inevitably dropping out. I just wasn’t passionate about anything I did.

While I tried to figure out my future, I began enjoying makeup. It started as me just playing around in my free time, and then I began doing it for my friends and family for different events. I decided this was my future and enrolled in the esthetics program at The Beauty Institute. I worked at two salons prior to MBR offering any service I could learn, before eventually figuring out that my true loves are lash extensions and brows. When I arrived at MBR I ditched all the services I used to do in order to focus perfecting my craft.

The best part of my job is making connections with all different kinds of people, and helping them to feel more confident as well as making their morning routines a little easier. And of course, working with such a talented and passionate team makes it that much better.
