A NOTE FROM MEG;
I have always been drawn to the beauty industry and the limitless opportunities it offers for as long as I can remember. I knew I wanted a career that allowed me to create, learn, and grow from. Before graduating from Metro Beauty Academy’s cosmetology program in the fall of 2019, I was a semester short of receiving my Bachelors Degree in Psychology. I love working with people, but I also knew a typical 9-5 job was not for me. Now, I still get to connect with people, help them find their confidence, get to be a part of some of their biggest days, all while being creative. I have never looked back since!

I began working with Team MBR in the fall of 2020. I heard nothing but great things from past clients and employees so I knew this was the environment I needed to be in. On a whim I messaged Roxy, asking if she was hiring. After meeting her and some of the team it was *chefs kiss* and BAM! I found my forever home.

I initially started here at Makeup by Roxy as a salon colorist, and then quickly added bridal hair stylist. Now I also offer long term hair extensions, as well as makeup services. I’ve had the opportunities to work with PBS, Crayola, Boudoir shoots, our beloved USOA pageant ladies, engagement and maternity shoots, weddings and everything in between! Every time I step foot in our studio I can’t help but be inspired by the pure talent that surrounds me. I owe everything to Roxy, the team, and my family for all of the continued support and motivation over the years. To everyone who has sat in my chair THANK YOU for being a part of the ride. I cannot wait to see what’s next!
